Candidate Filing Window Opens

Today is the first day that candidates can official file their candidacy for the various offices in this election season.  The system we have in Texas is incredibly unfair for independent candidates because they have to jump through several hoops just to get their names on the ballot. 

In Texas, you have to first file with your political party. So today is the day to watch who makes their way to the Democratic Party Headquarters. In fact today, and the day the filing window closes, will likely be the busiest days at Donkey HQ.
